
Dr. Brant is a recent graduate of the University of Florida's Electrical and Computer Engineering Department with his Ph.D in Computer Engineering and Cybersecurity. Currently, his primary role is as the CTO of BMP Logic here in Florida, just outside of the Gainesville area. Dr. Brant is a recipient of the National Science Foundation's SFS CyberCorps Fellowship, and is actively looking for qualified government positions in cybersecurity and information assurance to fulfill the fellowship service commitment.

Began as the lead IoT Network Engineer responsible for creating and maintaining their LoRaWAN network stacks and connections for large scale precision agriculture monitoring and sensing. Elevated to CTO in March of 2025 and became responsible for direction and strategic decisions for design, deployment, and maintenance of new technology across BMP Logic's multitude of software services and hardware products.

Threat Hunting Intern

Threat Hunting Intern on the Kit Team within the Cybersecurity Division of CISA. Over the course of the Summer, tasks included, but were not limited to, wiping all data and performing clean installs of all necessary software modules for threat hunting kits to be deployed elsewhere within the government or to any government contractors. Additionally, I was tasked with investigating possibilities for infrastructure updates to Kit Team procedures.

Tasks included, but were not limited to, overhaul and redesign of the testing environment for the Metro Automation of Network Installation and Setup product, Jenkins environment testing, development of programs/scripts specifically for dynamically creating VMs managed through OpenStack for testing, as well as aiding in the ongoing evolution of the Metro product through continually testing new code for said Metro product.
